Silver bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide

Silver bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is used in the extraction of C₅ - C₈ linear alfa olefins using its silver salt to form room temperature ionic liquids. Further, it is utilized for the separation of olefins from paraffins.
